Christmas creep is a phenomena that has been happening for years. The Snowman in Costco in August is a classic example. Like everyone else I shook my head and laughed. Until it landed in my mailbox.

I took photos of the “Snow Angel Gatefold” greeting card sample. Per their website:

Our gatefold greeting cards:
Feature a beautifully-illustrated cover scene
Open to a delightful panoramic illustration
Provide plenty of room for your own personal message
Include the Nativity Story from the Gospel of Luke

You get 18 cards for $10.95. Considering that you should send out Christmas cards the week after Thanksgiving, you shouldn’t have to order them more that a month before that. Early October at the earliest. I received this on August 13, 2014.
